WHO WE ARE

OUR STORY

We are Olga Ledyan and Matheus Chagas. We’ve met at the dog show and became
partners in life and in conformation showing, puppy rearing, and multiple dogs sports and activities. Our kids also join us in our dog sports adventures, so it’s a full family endeavor.

Olga got her first dog at 11, as luck had it it was Kerry blue terrier. Athletic, curly, and wickedly smart girl that was outgoing and protective at the same time. She had to learn how to groom, train, exercise, create nutrition meals and keep this magnificent creature happy, occupied and under control. The interest in dogs’ sports has begun with Kerri and later on she has acquired interest in genetics and preservation of historic breeds, which is a combo of art and science in some exports opinion. Over the course of the years she has worked, bred and shown breeds, including toy Poodles, Australian shepherds, Borzoi, and, of course, her big loves are Lagotti Romagnolo – due to unique combination of wicked wits, gentle and loving nature and abundance of personality.

Matheus started his way through the dog fanciers with Australian cattle dogs, worked closely with French bulldogs and his current obsession is Affenpinscher, the infamous monkey dogs, the combination of look and personality makes them unforgettable. Our favorite description of them is “mustached devil.” Matheus’ ambitions lay in the conformation field, he works towards becoming top professional handler and he has won in the ring numerous times and counting. He is currently on the path to become an expert in harsh coated breeds among other things.

OUR MISSION

We pride ourselves in helping to preserve ancient historic breeds through research, testing and careful selection.Our priorities are, and always has been, – health, temperament and aesthetic beauty (luckily neither Lagotti nor Affens don’t need any extra help with the last). We are striving to raise, groom and train our pups so they would bring joy to the owners and everyone who meets them. We value predictability of the dogs that have a distinct history and legacy.
